Since its inception, Dirtybird has focused on building a community where fans and artists come together. It was created as an alternative to the many aloof brands and non-inclusive cultures in the scene. Dirtybird has always emphasized music, art, fun, and friendship.

Initially gaining popularity in Europe, the Dirtybird style of bass-driven beats eventually caught on in the United States, fueled by the rise of electronic music’s popularity and festival culture. Today, Dirtybird is one of the country's most recognizable dance music brands.
